About Rebecca
With 18 years experience and having delivered more than 20,000 massages, I have a broad range of experience and a long list of training and qualifications. Of this list Remedial is the most recognizable.
I started my training in Australia and worked for 8 years in International Tourist Hotel Spas, specializing in Remedial Massage, Pamper Packages and Pregnancy treatments. I have also worked in Health Clinics, Health Resorts and Retreats.
Upon returning to New Zealand I continued to work in high end Spas, but discovered that I also had a strong interest in Sports Massage and pain relief. I spent two years developing my skills in this area by working at a specialist sports clinic in Ponsonby.
In 2015 and 2016 I returned to Australia to complete training in Dry Needling techniques. This was completed with Dr Wayne Mahmound of CPD Dry Needling and Osteopath, who has over 30 years experience in education and training.
When I started my own business I became very passionate about Palliative and Elderly care. This has enabled me to combine my past career with my current one – 7 years of aged care, disability, palliative and respite nursing.
With a career this long, I have a wealth of varied experience!
I am currently studying Chinese Medicine at Greenlane in Auckland and am in my third year. I am a huge fan of international cultures and especially how they use massage and other natural methods to stay balanced.
