Seeking Remedial Massage Therapist Level 6 or 7 for Contractor Role, Auckland Central and beyond.
The successful applicant will provide Mobile Massage throughout Auckland (mostly city), and in future will be required to manage the casual staff team.
You must have experience, be friendly and personable as well as highly professional.
This is an opportunity to work in a team who are passionate about delivering an exemplary service to their clients.
Although the role will initially centre around providing massage services directly, there is also future opportunity for growth as a team leader who will manage staff thereby marking this opportunity as a significant career move opportunity.
The role will suit someone who has experience working in a clinic and is at intermediate or senior level.
Approaching this role with a business mindset as well as providing massage therapy services has the potential to make the income to be substantial.
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 12pm to 9.30pm and Wednesday, Friday 9.30am to 6pm.
*Please note some flexibility around the above hours will be required when jobs require this.
Massage New Zealand Membership is preferred so as to enable Southern Cross Health rebates for clients.
This requirement is somewhat negotiable if you have plan in place to become a member of Massage New Zealand.
Relaxation massage is not the focus of our business.
You must be proficient in Sports, Remedial and Seated Massage and be able to differentiate between them.
*If you don’t have some of these skills but are enthusiastic about up-skilling, there may still be an opportunity for you.
We are looking for someone who is truly passionate about delivering massage to others and is enthusiastic and energetic. I’ll be asking you WHY what you do is so important.
A responsible attitude and mature nature are essential, as is a drive to succeed and increase our already well-respected brand.
Client visits take place in a range of different surroundings such as Hotels, schools, private residences and nursing homes. You will need to be self-motivated, confident in any environment and be able to communicate clearly with anyone.
You need to be able to form trusting relationships and have your client’s best interest at heart 100% of the time.
Like most new things, moving to mobile massage is an adjustment from being clinic bound however, I personally love being out and about going on adventures all over Auckland. This lifestyle offers a lot of freedom. Being able to add personal touches in service, and delivery also goes a long way towards building a strong and meaningful relationship with clients.
I have grown the Auckland Massage client base through a high standard of massage and reputation and now all the clients we look after are regulars. They range from professionals, business owners, corporate clients, to staff of business who provide a massage service for them.
I am happy to provide training and mentoring to help you learn how to be versatile, business focused, and to encourage people to want to rebook our services.
